Description
So just as i promised, here are a few digital files.
This one's from Paris. Walking from the hotel to the Paris Expo i came across this reflection in the gutter. Just a quick snapshot and that's it. I guess that's just a little, and rather unplanned, allegory to just any big city - don't be fooled by the nice sights, as you're just one step away from the gutter.
That's why i feel good about my city. Neither the sights nor the gutter are too extreme I mean the sights are... well... nice, but mostly kind of Lynch-ian (yeah, i know i repeat myself - David Lynch loves this city - but it makes me kind of proud). On the other hand, our gutters are not too bad either - noone's running around with a mack or a shotgun, barely any dealers or hoes on the corners, almost negligible amount of immigrants.
Ok, so the technicalities...
Camera: Canon EOS 300D
Lens: either the kit 18-55 or a Tamron 28-200, can't really guess from the EXIF, at f/8, iso 200.
Shot: JPG with AdobeRGB (no lame Parameter 1 or 2)
No crop, no adjustments, just downsized. Trying to stick to that rule throughout the gallery so far.
Enjoy.

I really enjoy reflections in photos. Something about a clear reflection takes me to another place entirely. And I enjoyed reading your interpretation too. It's kind of the same conclusion I had when first glancing at the image. Well done! The clarity and composition are both really nice.
